As those who have subscribed to the new club events calendar on the FLRC home page know, it’s time to tackle the 9.2-mile Triple Hump course!
Since this is Tonya’s and my home course group run and the weather is looking gorgeous, everyone is welcome to come over to 50 Hickory Road for a post-run swim in the pond and brunch on our deck. We’ll have bagels and toppings, plus watermelon and chocolate milk. If you’d like to bring something to share, that will make brunch all the tastier. (It’s fine to come if you want to run something shorter on your own before brunch, too.)
Check the course page for a Google Map pin and RunGo directions, which are easiest to set up at home. We’ll meet at the Ellis Hollow Nature Preserve parking lot at 8:30 AM and aim to start at 8:45 AM. You can park at the start, on the west (Ithaca, downhill) side of Hickory Road by our house, or at the Ellis Hollow Community Center, as shown below. Leave enough time to run (downhill) to the start if you’re parking elsewhere.
Please RSVP below so we can plan food quantities. There will be people at various paces, and if you need a ride or have any questions, just reply to this post.
- Yes, I’m coming to the run and brunch!
Neither FLRC membership nor FLRC Challenge participation is required, and everyone is welcome, regardless of pace, age, or bagel flavor preference. If you haven’t yet registered for the FLRC Challenge, please sign the FLRC 2025 Training Programs waiver. You only need to sign once for all 2025 group runs, so if you’ve already done so, you’re all set—check here.)
