FLRC Challenge group run Sunday, 5/24 at 9 AM at Stewart Park (Waterfront Trail)

After two weekends with FLRC races (did you submit your WDF (as Lakefront Loops) and Thom B. times to the leaderboard?) it’s time for another FLRC Challenge group run. This Sunday at 9 AM, we’ll run the short, easy Waterfront Trail course, which is a 5K starting in Stewart Park and one of this year’s Classic Challenge courses. Check the course page for the starting location east of the large pavilion.

After the usual milling, introductions, and answers to Challenge-related questions, we’ll aim to start around 9:15 AM. There is plenty of parking at Stewart Park, and it should be early enough that Cornell graduation parties won’t have kicked in yet. Afterward, we’ll have bagels and cream cheese and cookies and chocolate milk, courtesy of the Thom B. food team.

Please vote in the pace poll below so others can get a sense of who else will be running their pace. We always have a wide range of runners, so you’ll generally find someone to run with.

Pace Poll

Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, ability, pace, or anything else. This is a free activity, and while FLRC membership and FLRC Challenge participation are encouraged, neither is required. If you’re not running the Challenge, please sign the FLRC Training Programs waiver. You only need to sign once for all 2026 workouts and group runs, so if you’ve already done so, you’re all set.

Subscribe to FLRC’s Races and Group Runs calendars so race dates, group runs, and other club events flow into your calendar.
