With the warm weather and rain predicted the rest of the week, we are sticking to a paved trail to avoid possible yucky footing elsewhere.
The next FLRC group run is this Saturday, December 20, on the Waterfront Trail. We will meet in the parking lot behind the Cass Park Rink at 9:00am and run at 9:15am.
This is an hour-long run, so when your watch hits 30 minutes, turn around and run back regardless of where you are. This allows everyone to start together and end together.
You find a link to the “course” here. From the parking lot we will head out along the Waterfront Trail (same way as the Winter Chill series). Instead of bearing to the left at the bridge, run over it and continue on the sidewalk, taking a left on W Buffalo St, then another left after the little bridge back onto the trail. Continue toward the Farmer’s Market summer grounds/Stewart Park until the 30 minute mark on your watch (or until you see people turning around).
Please RSVP below so we can plan food quantities. There will be people at various paces, and if you need a ride or have any questions, just reply to this post.
- Yes, I’m coming to the run!
Everyone is welcome, regardless of pace, age, or bagel flavor preference! This is a free activity and club membership is not required, but please sign the FLRC 2025 Training Programs waiver before your first run this year. You only need to sign the waiver once for all 2025 group runs, so if you’ve already signed it, you’re all set—check here.
