FLRC Group Run On South Hill Rec Way, Saturday 10/18 @ 9:00am

Lots of events happening this weekend, but if you don’t have anything else planned, join the next FLRC group run! Since last weekend we had a race on a pretty intense trail, we’ll take it easy this weekend with some flat miles. Saturday, October 18, we will meet at the Juniper Dr. trailhead for an hour-long run on the South Hill Rec Way. We will meet at 9:00am and run at 9:15am. You can run in either direction, then double back and do the other leg for 4.5 miles. You may also continue down the hill for more mileage if needed/desired, or repeat a leg of the upper section.

Details: This is an out-and-back run, so you can’t get lost! The standard run is an hour (30 minutes out, 30 minutes back), which allows everyone to start together and end together. Please RSVP below so we can plan food quantities. There will be people at various paces, and if you need a ride or have any questions, just reply to this post.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of pace, age, or bagel flavor preference! This is a free activity and club membership is not required, but please sign the FLRC 2025 Training Programs waiver before your first run this year. You only need to sign the waiver once for all 2025 group runs, so if you’ve already signed it, you’re all set—check here.

A beautiful fall day! The trail on the other side of Burns Rd. heading toward Brooktondale is now open and cleared for about 2 miles. Take care of the footing, anything not on the singletrack has holes.
