The next FLRC group run is this Saturday, October 3, in Ithaca on the South Hill Rec Way. We will meet at the Juniper Drive parking area at 8:30am and run at 8:45am. You can run in either direction, then double back and do the other leg for 4.5 miles. You may also continue down the hill for more mileage if needed/desired, or repeat a leg of the upper section. The parking area doesn’t hold a lot of cars, and additional parking can be found along the nearby streets. Please be courteous when parking in front of people’s houses.
Upcoming group runs (time TBD, but in the morning):
- 10/17 - Black Diamond Trail Challenge group run, 8.2 miles
- 10/24 - Halloween Zombie group run
- 11/7 or 11/8 - Dryden Lake Lollipop Challenge group run, 13 miles
Details: This is an hour-long run, so when your watch hits 30 minutes, turn around and run back regardless of where you are. This allows everyone to start together and end together. There will be post-run snacks available so please stick around after for socializing to get to know fellow runners and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Please RSVP below so we can plan food quantities. There will be people at various paces, and if you need a ride or have any questions, just reply to this post.
There are no bathrooms along this trail, as far as I know.
