High Noon men's roster for PGXC #2 on 10/4/2025

Good day, @pgxc-high-noon. Our second race of the season is coming up this Sunday, October 4, at Mendon Ponds, which is this side of Rochester. Logistics are explained here.

Here’s what we have so far. We may need to shuffle people around to make full teams, so sign up soon, and the more people you can recruit, the better! Make sure to sign up in RunSignup and on the High Noon roster sheet.

Again, I have to build teams ahead of the race, so late sign-ups cause stress, and no-shows cause even more. If you need to change your plans either way, let me know directly via a post here, email to ace@tidbits.com, or text to 607-275-9557. This is important—I had to shuffle two teams in the half hour before the last race due to no-shows.

U19 (3 to score, 5 to run—on the FLRC roster )

  • Ryan Jacobsen - ? in RunSignup, but not on the Google Sheet
  • Kai Kwee-Hallem - ? in RunSignup, but not on the Google Sheet
  • Yan Kwee-Hallem - ? in RunSignup, but not on the Google Sheet

It looks like we have a team here, but we need confirmation on the Google Sheet roster. @AnandasMom, will Ananda be able to run, too?

Open (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Andrew Flyak
  • Nick McPherson
  • Patrick Milano
  • Ryan Spires
  • Tillman Peters

With Nick and Tillman joining us from Hamilton, we have five, but more people to fill out the scoring team would make me more comfortable.

Masters (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Columbia Warren
  • Dave Kania
  • Geoff Van Fleet
  • Jay Hubisz
  • Patrick Boyle (still need to sign up in RunSignup)
  • Seth Hallem
  • Steve Folsom

Now that’s a good-sized team!

Vets (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Adam Engst
  • Damian Clemons
  • Jesse Koennecke

We need two more people to field a team, and if we don’t get them, I’ll run us down to Open. Scott Dawson’s out this week, but what about Scotie Jacobs, Joey Randall, and Steve Jesch?

Super Vets (3 to score, 5 can run)

  • John Hummel

Although John’s alone in this category right now, it’s likely that I’ll run Carl and Charlie down. But it would be great to get some more power from Casey, Alan, and others.

Ultra Vets (3 to score, 5 can run)

  • Charlie Fay
  • Carl Franck

Unless another Ultra Vet steps up soon, I’ll run Carl and Charlie down to Super Vets.

Finally, Tonya has organized a group run-through of the Treman course for October 12.

I did some significant damage to my knee in last nights hockey game. I think I’ll be fine in a couple days, but I won’t know until the swelling goes down. Even so, I won’t be at my typical pace. I’ll touch base again Saturday morning to let you know where I am at.

Ouch! Sorry to hear it, and we’ll make a race-day decision if necessary.

I’m still on the fence post-illness, feeling OK after yesterday’s group run but definitely not back to good racing shape…when’s the ideal cut-off for making a decision?

Saturday by dinner is fine, thanks, and I hope you feel better soon!

Don’t push yourself unnecessarily to make it to this race because we have a big Masters team already, and no path I can see to making another team with extra Vets.

Sorry

its been a real crazy… week. We are in the heart of our busy season. I am currently in the field running a project and trying to do my office duties nights and weekends. With all of that and my slow recovery… I just won’t make it tomorrow.

Good luck and run hard.

Joey

I’m in and signed up! See you tomorrow for tent set up!

Did a test run today and the knee is holding up fine. Should be good to go.

I’m in. Just egistered, actually. I’m in about the worst shape for cross country season ever, without being actually injured, so no heroics will be coming from me.

I’m in – feel free to run me wherever, both teams are looking pretty full currently…ideally I’d be right around 7:00 pace but who knows!

I am not going to be able to make it due to this illness. Best of luck to everyone!
