Zone 2 and Chill Group Run Monday 8/4

Join us tomorrow night, Monday August 4, for our biweekly chilled out group run! We’ll meet at the pavilions by the Children’s Garden at 6:00pm and head out on the inlet trail for a 30-45 minute laid back run.

The goal of these evenings is simply to get out and get moving with good company and good chat. The inlet trail makes for a great out and back route, with the focus on an easy pace and staying in those low heart rate zones to build a strong aerobic base.

While we’re not running another guided session of the Couch to 5K program this summer, if you are looking to restart or build up your running then this run would make a great opportunity to train using our FLRC Couch To 5K plan!

All paces and people are welcome! This is a free activity and club membership is not required, but please sign the FLRC 2025 Training Programs waiver before your first run this year. You only need to sign the waiver once for all 2025 group runs, so if you’ve already signed it, you’re all set—check here.

We are watching the AQI and the forecast predicts numbers above 100, but under 150. We will continue with the run, but consider your own health and safety.
