Zone 2 and Chill - Monday, March 30

Join us Monday night, March 30, for our biweekly chilled out group run! We meet at the pavilions by the Children’s Garden at 6:00pm and head out on the inlet trail for a 30-45 minute laid back run. We’re out of the darkness, but it could be rainy, so layer up!

This will be the last Zone 2 & Chill of the spring, as we will be transitioning into our Couch to 5K program. However, we can always use folx to come run with the group and be moral support!

The goal of these evenings is simply to get out and get moving with good company and good chat. The inlet trail makes for a great out and back route, with the focus on an easy pace and staying in those low heart rate zones to build a strong aerobic base.

If you are looking to restart or build up your running then this run would make a great opportunity to train using our FLRC Couch To 5K plan! We will be starting a guided Couch to 5K again soon, so keep your eyes on the forum for updates.

All paces and people are welcome! This is a free activity and club membership is not required, but please sign the FLRC 2026 Training Programs waiver before your first run this year. You only need to sign the waiver once for all 2026 group runs.
