Sunday Skunkday group run 3/8 at 9:00 AM at Barton Hall

Although we have our final Strides of March indoor track meet on Sunday, we’ll still have a Sunday Skunkday run for those who want to run longer outside.

Meet inside the front doors of Barton Hall (facing Teagle Hall, where Skunk starts) at 9:00 AM and be ready to run at 9:15. Since the track meet will be starting at 9:00 AM too, please stay off the track so as not to impede the runners.

Thanks to Dirk Swart for greeting people, taking a group photo, and helping set up the rough pace/distance groups while I’m busy directing the track meet! Once the groups have formed, you’ll run out east of the Cornell campus on the Skunk course and nearby roads and trails. People tend to break out into pace groups and distances that match training goals and weather conditions. In addition to the full 10K and half-marathon Skunk courses, there is great running on a wide variety of routes.

Everyone is welcome, even if you’re not an FLRC member or planning to run Skunk (but really?). Regardless, you must sign the FLRC Training Programs waiver once for 2026.

There should be plenty of free (on Sunday) parking in the Crescent Lot east of Schoellkopf Stadium or Cornell’s parking garage.

Any questions, just ask. Have fun on Sunday!
